It's amazing how single mindedly kids pursue candy. There's probably nothing in my life as an adult that I am obsessed with as much as kids (younger me included) are candy in all its devine incarnations.
And it's kinda weird that we encourage them to ask strangers for candy handouts once a year, but it's cute, so there you go. And bonus- we get to mooch some while they're alseep.

Casey absolutely would not put on his costume for Halloween so I wouldn't let him go trick or treating. My husband and my mom tried to pressure him to put the costume on but he was in tears and I told them to drop it. Why am I pressuring my child to go out begging for candy from strangers? It's sort of hilarious. Either way, Casey had a blast handing candy out to the kiddos so everyone had a nice Halloween.
